Soon after completing the previous fellowship at Burnet Melbourne, I am joining another Australian Leadership Award (ALA) fellowship program managed by the IHHR, School of Public Health and Community Medicine, University of New South Wales, Sydney.
The fellowship entitled Leadership in Health, Development and Human Rights in the Asia Pacific aims at improving both knowledge on the mutually reinforcing relations between health, development and human rights, and practical skills can be applied to lead and implement health, development and human rights principle in practical settings.
It is a great chance as I can meet many new friends form various countries especially in the Asia Pacific region and create new networks among them. This is also for the first time I concern about the important interaction between health and human rights. Last but not least, I have more relaxing time now to enjoy and explore the beautiful Sydney, one of the world’s most beautiful natural harbours.
